Dan Waters
Dan has been serving as a regular preacher at God's Gathering Place since 2022, following a 45-year pastoral journey across four churches. Born in Texas and raised in California, he earned a physics degree before serving two years in the Navy aboard USS Forrestal CVA-59, where he met his wife Mary, a Navy nurse. They shared 46 years of marriage. After his military service, Dan earned master's degrees from Grace and Dallas Theological Seminaries. Dan's greatest anticipated joy is seeing each person fully rewarded in the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 2:19).









Kevin Korb
Kevin became a believer at age 23, when a couple introduced him to Jesus' teaching on being born again. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary. Kevin and his wife Kris have been married since 1975, and have four grown children: Kathryn. Karissa, Michael, and Marci. His pastoral career includes serving at Monroe Bible Church (1983-1993), St. Germain Evangelical Free Church (1996-2009), and interim positions at Gratiot and Conover Evangelical Free Churches. Kevin continues to be inspired by God's timeless truths, matchless grace, and deep love revealed in Christ.

Andy Soto
Andy is originally from New London, Wisconsin, and was saved by grace in his late 20s. He served as an elder at Appleton Community Evangelical Free Church before moving to the Northwoods in 2023, where he now serves as Deacon of Christian Education at God's Gathering Place. Andy and his wife Molly will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary this 4th of July and are parents to two young boys, Huxley and Beckem. Andy divides his time between studying God's word, managing a short-term rental property, and seeking opportunities to teach scripture whenever possible. 

Kurt Witzig
Kurt has served in full-time ministry since 1996, focusing on youth, college, pastoral and international work, particularly in Africa. He has also served as a conference speaker, author and podcaster. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota and
an MDiv from Grace Biblical Seminary. Kurt and his wife Sarah have been married for 37 years, and they have three adult sons and four grandchildren.

Michael Lane
Michael hails from the Southside of Chicago and graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 1979. He moved to the Bahamas where he met Denise, another teacher at the private Christian school he was employed at. They have three children and nine grandchildren. Michael did his graduate work at Northern Illinois University in biology and Southern Illinois University in molecular biology.  He has taught both in public and private schools for 25 yrs and has received numerous prestigious state and national teaching awards. In 1999 Michael joined Fort Wilderness Ministries to develop the Nature Center program and serve as the Director of Education and as a Bible and Apologetics Teacher.  In 2021 Michael founded the apologetics focused ministry Evidence 4 Faith to continue equipping Christians across the country with the knowledge and tools to grow and defend the Faith. 

Ray Cress
holds a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and enjoyed a 38-year teaching career at Loma Linda University School of Medicine before retiring to Wisconsin in 2007. He became a Lay Pastor in 2014 and has been preaching at various local churches. Ray and his wife Gail have been married since 1983 and have four children between them. They currently attend Clearwater Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, where Ray serves as head elder.

Mike Prom
Mike is the founder and International Director of Wise Intentional Leadership Development (WILD), an international ministry that trains Christian leaders in 19 African and Asian countries; he previously served as Executive Director of Headwaters Christian Youth in Rhinelander for 39 years. Mike and his wife Ann have been married for 44 years, and they have three children and five grandchildren.
